"The Flipped Classroom" is a class that incorporates instruction outside of the classroom in addition to instruction in the classroom. This is usually done through providing assignments and instruction online to enhance learning. "The Flipped Classroom" is a nontraditional form of learning and instruction. It's beneficial to students because it keeps the learning process going no matter where they are located as long as they have access to a computer. I wish I had been given more online instructional tools when I was in grade school, I believe that "The Flipped Classroom" is every classroom's future! The digital divide is a fancy way of saying that some students have easier access to technology, such as computers/tablets, than others.
